Fossil fuels are one of the energy sources that are currently still widely used in the world. However, the availability of fossil fuels in the world is running low, this is because fossil fuels are natural resources that cannot be renewed. Efficient fuel today is a fuel cell, a fuel cell is an electrochemical conversion device that can produce electricity from the reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. A fuel cell circuit has two electrodes, namely the positive electrode as the cathode and the negative electrode as the anode. Bipolar plates are one of the important and most expensive components in fuel cells as a determinant of the performance of producing energy. In the fabrication process, the problems that often occur are dimensional incompatibility and failure and damage to the bipolar plate. So the development of bipolar plates is efficient for the manufacture of PEMFC in the future because so far the material used is only grafhite which is easily brittle. This study was conducted to be able to determine the effect of graphhite coating on aluminum plates using the spraying method as a conducting plate on the fuel cell, the purpose is to compare the value of taking electrical conductivity data, microstructure and bending strength of the conducting plate which is expected to be a reference in the development of bipolar plates in the future. In this study, tests were carried out including electrical conductivity tests, microstructure observations and calculations of the bending strength of each sample. Conducting Plate with a composition of KG 55% - RE 45% with the number of sprayings, 5 sprayings, 10 sprayings and 15 sprayings through the spraying method. From the results of this study, it was obtained that the highest electrical conductivity value obtained in specimen one (1) with 5 sprayings with a value of 33.33 S/cm and Specimen one (1) which has a bending strength of 254.47 (N/mm 2 ) has met the bending standards of the Department of Energy (DOE).
