Abstract

Well X is a well that has an unconsolidate formation (formation that easily collapses) located in field X, which is produced in one layer, namely the Siak Sand formation, where in well X the problem that occurs is that sand is also produced, this causes a very large disturbance. for the equipment or production facilities in well X, for that there needs to be special handling of the sand that is also produced. To overcome the problem with the production of surface sand, in well X the Gravel Pack method is used, where this method is carried out in order to block the sand and the production facilities can function properly. In writing this final project, an analysis of the success of the gravel pack work in well X with the aim of knowing how big the success rate of the work is by analyzing the large amount of pumped gravel sand. This is one of the keys to the success of gravel pack work, performance analysis production facilities and analysis of how much increased production from production prior to Gravel Pack work. The research method is carried out with procedures and steps to carry out the analysis carried out by collecting data. The data obtained from the daily production of well X, from the results of the record and pressure data in well X, from reservoir characteristics data, and fluid characteristics data. Analyzing the success of the Gravel Pack work by comparing the performance of production facilities in well X before and after Gravel Pack, analyzing the increase in production in well X.
