Abstract

This study aims to find out and understand how the Management of Parking Retribution in Pekanbaru City (Case Study of Illegal Parking at Plaza Sukaramai Trade Center and to find out obstacles to the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service, especially UPT Parking in managing Parking Retribution (Case Study of Illegal Parking at Plaza Sukaramai Trade Center) The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection including interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study illustrate that the Management of Parking Retribution in Pekanbaru City (Case Study of Illegal Parking at Plaza Sukaramai Trade Center) has not run optimally. This is supported by not the achievement of the parking retribution target in Pekanbaru City every year. First, in terms of mobilizing the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service and the private sector only curbing illegal jurors without providing a deterrent effect in the form of sanctions/fines, second, in terms of supervision of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service and the private sector only conducts field patrols for a certain period of time which are formed directly in the field with inadequate supervision personnel. However, in terms of planning and organization it has been going well. As for the inhibiting factors in the Management of Parking Retribution in Pekanbaru City (Case Study of Illegal Parking at Plaza Sukaramai Trade Center Lack of personnel from the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service and third parties in carrying out supervision of the management of parking fees, resources Humans who are less responsive and less effective in solving problems in the field Lack of public awareness contributes to increasing Regional ASI Revenue in the field of parking fees.
