Abstract

Abstract Gender issue is one of the interesting issues and has received a lot of attention from social thinkers in the last few decades. The starting point of the discussion on gender issues is the discovery of the fundamental differences between men and women, especially in world politics. which is masculine and will only be done by men. The main problem in this research is how is the role of female personnel in world peace missions based on international law in UN Security Council Resolution No. 2538 of 2020 and how is the legal review of female personnel in world peace missions in the application of UN Security Council Resolution No. 2538 of 2020 based on international law. In UN Security Council Resolution No. 2538 of 2020. However, this research uses normative juridical research methods, namely research aimed at examining the application or norms or rules contained in positive law. Meanwhile, judging from its nature, this research is descriptive analytical. The United Nations Police Division launches a 'Global Effort' to recruit more female police officers into national police services and into UN policing operations worldwide. The 2028 target for the military is 15%, and 25% for military observers and staff, as well as the targets for the formed military are 20%, and 30% for individuals. UN Peacekeeping helps conflict-torn countries create the conditions for lasting peace. Peacekeeping has proven to be one of the United Nations' most effective tools to help host countries navigate the difficult path from conflict to peace. As peacekeepers, women caretakers represent the United Nations in a country to help the faith of people in conflict. Women are placed in all areas - police, military and civilian - and have a positive impact on the World peacekeeping environment.
