Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Drum Band Extracurricular Development at MTs Negeri 5 Kampar T.A 2019/2020. The theory used by Suryosubroto (2007:77-79) has five elements, namely objectives, materials, methods, infrastructure and assessment/evaluation. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis method using qualitative data. The data collection technique used by the author in this study is the technique of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the purpose of holding drum band extracurricular activities at MTs Negeri 5 Kampar is as a forum for students to develop their interests and talents, while the material for this activity is to study the Mars drum band in MTs Negeri 5 Kampar, the method used The method used in this activity is the lecture and practice method, then the infrastructure used is a set of drum band tools, classrooms, whiteboards and accessories to support the appearance, the assessment in the process of this activity is a direct assessment during the activity by observing students and the results obtained. obtained will be listed when the student receives the report at the end of the semester in the form of: Very good (A), Good (B), Enough (C) and Less (D).
