Abstract

The development of technology and information that is increasingly advanced, one form of development that affects humans is that it is easy to solve all the problems that exist in human work. Indonesia recognizes general elections to determine leaders or better known as elections. In determining the head of the RT also uses a direct election system by collecting the voting rights of residents who live in the area. Bintungan V Housing is a housing complex located on Jalan Suka Karya, Riau. In 2021, there will be 150 family cards, consisting of 600 residents, three dead residents, 350 people, the number of residents aged 17 years and over who can vote. With a very large number of voters, it becomes constrained in terms of time and cost and is vulnerable to vulnerability. Therefore, it is necessary to have an application that can help election organizers IE MOBILE-BASED E VOTING APPLICATION USING THE BLOCKCHAIN METHOD starting from the voter registration form, the use of voting rights and the calculation of election results. In addition, the application must be equipped with sufficient data security to reduce fraud on voting data. This application also has excellent results by performing calculations using a Likert scale which is usually done to measure attitudes and opinions commonly used in questionnaires and this scale is most widely used in survey research. It has a percentage of 90.75% so that the application for the election of the head of the RT in the Bintungan V housing estate is feasible.
