Abstract

In the authority of the Head of Customs and Excise Office and Service Type Intermediate B Tanjung Balai Karimun on Imported Goods at Tanjung Balai Karimun Harbor, they have a service motto such as Public Services which are carried out in accordance with procedures and completed on time fulfilling the service promises provided. Likewise, public service users who are prioritized are provided according to their needs, and public service products that are trusted, responsive, transparent and accountable. No less important is creating a comfortable atmosphere filled with hospitality with adequate facilities for service users and fulfilling their obligations to the State. The problems faced and obstacles and constraints to goods imports are like investing in land issues when investors want to enter a lot of land that is already under private control. The ideal infrastructure has not been achieved such as ports, electricity, roads that will be traversed by imported and exported goods. However, all of this can be overcome, namely the policy of the government by establishing a free zone aimed at industry, in order to obtain import duty and tax exemption facilities for imports, incoming investment, absorbed labor, developing economies. After that the purpose of the goods or production is exported again so as to generate foreign exchange. The policy also attracts investors to invest in Indonesia. And from Customs & Excise to support this effort, held a Coffee Morning and Forum Group Discussion (FGD) regarding what facilities were provided by Customs & Excise which was attended by the regent. And he is very supportive of Customs & Excise so that his efforts attract incoming investors. The impact on the community in the office environment on imported goods at the port of Tanjung Balai Karimun With the FTZ area, automatically there are several investors who enter. There is a need for labor, a new economy has emerged, for example selling food and daily necessities. The actual economic impact, so the economy grows when there is investment coming in and labor is absorbed, that's the Micro economic impact. When there is production from companies, there is exports, foreign exchange goes to the country. the impact is wider and it is called the Macro economic impact.
