Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility or abbreviated as TJSP is a program that requires corporations to participate in implementing social and environmental welfare, referring to ISO 26000 there are 7 CSR subjects, namely: Business Entity Responsibility, HumanRights, Labor Practices, Environment, Organizational Ethical Practices, Consumer Protection, and Community Involvement and Development. Indonesia regulates strictly regarding TJSP through Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, Article 1 number 3 and article 74 mention TJSP expressly and the purposeof TJSP itself. This research explores the implementation of TJSP PT. Hunting Energy Asia In Kec. Nongsa Batam City. PT. Hunting Energy Asia is engaged in providing oil and gas exploration facilities, based on laws and regulations and derivatives, then PT. Hunting Energy Asia has an obligation to implement TJSP for community. Kec. Nongsa BatamCity is an environment that receives the TJSP program from the Company, but the program implemented has not touched on the value of Sustainability, so this is a study in this research. This research is empirical juridical research, where Primary data is obtained directly from interviews conducted to sources who are directly in contact with the TJSP PROGRAM of PT. Hunting Energy Asia. From the results of the study, it was found that PT. Hunting Energy Asia has implemented TJSP well and significantly benefited the community, but has not touched too much on the purpose of TJSP itself, namely Sustainability, besides that the community also does not understand well the concept of TJSP and then the community does not make blue print planning that will provide a good life not only for the current generation, but also for the next generation.
