Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work characteristics and organization commitment to the performance of employees of PT Adei Plantation & Industri in Pelalawan. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method, namely by collecting data obtained from respondents. Then tabulated and analyzed quantitatively. Samapel in this study amounted to 36 employees who were part of process 1 and process 2 using saturated sampling. Types and sources of data used are primary data and skunde. Data collection techniques, namely by interview, observation and questionnaires. The instrument test used the validity and reability test, while the data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis with the t test, f test and R². The results of this study indicate that work characteristics and work commitment have a positive and significant effect partially on employee performance at PT Adei Plantation & Industri in Pelalawan. The f test shows that the characteristics and organization commitment have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance at PT Adei Plantation & Industri in Pelalawan
