Abstract

. This study aims to formulate a study of the application of tourism village criteria in Lubuk Siam Village. Collecting data in this study using primary data in the form of interviews, field observations and documentation, while secondary data in the form of data collection in related agencies. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling technique. The targets to be achieved are (a) analysis of tourism village potential using an ordinal scale (b) Analysis of tourism village components. The results of this study show that the results of 100 respondents who were interviewed in Lubuk Siam Village have potential and uniqueness and are listed in the criteria for a tourist village. that Lubuk Siam Village has achieved the tourism village criteria but there are several criteria that must be fulfilled or improved to support tourism village activities. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, there are some suggestions that the author needs to have an active role for the local government in the development and development of Lubuk Siam Village, not only the active role of the village government. Accelerate the fulfillment of supporting facilities for tourist villages in Lubuk SIam Village, such as the construction of homestays, the addition of public toilets, the addition of rest areas, the availability of restaurants and other facilities that are still not fulfilled.
