Abstract

The development and development of road networks in an area can trigger the development of activities and changes in land use in the surrounding area.Seen along the corridor of Garuda Sakti Road , Tampan Subdistrict began to see symptoms of land use changes.Garuda Sakti Road has a function as a Secondary Collector Road with Road Status is a City Ring Road. This section is one of the triggers for the development and increase of activity on the main road of Pekanbaru City.The increasing number of residents is followed by the construction of new housing, shops, hotels and others. This certainly causes a lot of space needs so that there are changes in land use onGaruda Sakti Road, Tampan Subdistrict.The development and development of road networks in an area can trigger the development of activities and changes in land use in the surrounding area. And there are several factors that affect land use changes on Garuda Sakti Road. This study aims to identify land use changes that occur on Garuda SaktiRoad and identify factors that influence land use changes.The study used spatial analysis to identify land use changes and likert scale analysis to identify factors influencing land use change. Based on the results of the analysis that in 2012 the land use was built was 75,903 Ha.In 2016 the land use built was 238,022 Ha. And in 2020 the use of built land is 307,918 Ha.
