Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of the emotional intelligence on employe performance at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera. The research method used in this study is to use analysis simple linear regression data. The data collection in this study using a questionnaire with a sample of employee in the factory section (process of shift a and part of shift b process)s at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera. From the answer recapitulation respondent showed that emotional intelligence at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera prosperity has been said to be good and the performance of employee at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera Prosperity has been said to be good and the results of determination (R2) show that the influence of emotional intelligence on employee performance at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera is in the weak category. Form the result of data analysis it can be concluded that partially emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Sumber Sawit Sejahtera.
