Abstract

This study aims to analyze the accountability of the performance of the Pekanbaru City Revenue Agency through the principle of value for money. This research is a qualitative research. This study uses a documentation interview as a data collec- tion technique. The data requested is in the form of a Performance Report of the Pekanbaru City Regional Revenue Agency and a Pekanbaru City Revenue AgencyBudget Realization Report in 2019 and 2020. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis.This study shows that the accountability of the Pekanbaru City Revenue Agency Performance in 2019 and 2020 has not met the value for money principle in terms of economic, efficiency, effectiveness (3E) elements.In 2019, there were 7 programs and 36 activities carried out, 31 activities were de- clared economical, 22 activities were declared inefficient and 14 activities were declared ineffective, In 2020, there were 7 programs with 39 activities carried out, 32 activities were declared economical, 28 activities declared inefficient, 5 activities declared ineffective. .
