Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the role of a village head when carrying out a fostering of peace and order in the community of Pulau Rengas Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The indicators in this study include actions, processes, results of further actions, better statements, as for the type of research in writing this thesis which is located in Pulau Rengas Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, namely this thesis uses a qualitative descriptive research method which research It explores and analyzes to give meaning and meaning in solving a problem. The data that the authors collect is in the form of words, pictures and not numbers. Thus, an explanation and description of the research topic can be obtained in accordance with the research title. This writing consists of primary data obtained by interview, documentation and observation and secondary data obtained by interview. The obstacles to fostering and maintaining peace and order in the community of Pulau Rengas Village are the lack of active village officials in providing information for the community.
