Abstract
Assistance for out-of-school children must always be accompanied by professional assistants, because a child has not been able to solve the problem and must be assisted by experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled people in communication. So that a communication strategy is needed, especially interpersonal communication. Because the success of effective communication activities is largely determined by the determination of communication strategies. The purpose of this study is to determine the Interpersonal Communication Center Abiseka Pekanbaru in Life Therapy Assistance and the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is a qualitative method. The subject of my research is the Head of the Pekanbaru Abiseka Center, the Assistant of the Pekanbaru Abiseka Center and the children who follow the coaching. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the interpersonal communication of the Abiseka Center Pekanbaru in livelihood therapy assistance has been going well, this is indicated by the problems that can be solved by the Abiseka Center by communicating well. Through a good approach and communication, children become more open and dare to tell all the problems that occur so that problems can be immediately resolved and a solution is found.
