Abstract

In this study, the purpose of this study was to find out the results and explain the extent of the guidance carried out by the Lurah towards Community Institutions in Umban Sari Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. In this study using indicators, namely counseling, direction and guidance. The type of research used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative, which is looking for an in-depth understanding of a symptom, fact or reality in the field. Researchers collect data through interviews, observation and documentation. Where the data analysis techniques used by researchers are data reduction, triangulation and drawing conclusions. Thus, the researchers concluded from this study that the guidance carried out by the Umban Sari Lurah, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City towards Social Institutions specifically RT and RW had not been carried out properly, due to several obstacles including inadequate funds, and the lack of attention from the Lurah towards The performance of RT and RW in Umban Sari and the difficulty of gathering RT and RW in Umban Sari Village are due to their respective busy lives and work interests.
