Abstract

Employee compensation and job satisfaction are very important in improving employee performance. Compensation is a driving force for someone to carry out an activity in order to get the best results, employee job satisfaction needs to be fulfilled so that employees can carry out the best performance, on the other hand if employees do not get satisfaction in doing work, it will be difficult for employees to work well and tend not to achieve the desired goals. desired. When employees get satisfaction from work, employees will work optimally and help achieve the goals desired by the organization or company. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Tasma Puja, East Kampar District, Kampar Regency. This type of research uses a descriptive survey type, which is the type that explains the variables that have been examined in the research. Furthermore, using a quantitative approach, namely answering and solving problems by understanding and deepening thoroughly and completely from the object under study in order to obtain a clear picture. The results of this research indicate that the variable X, namely Compensation with Financial and Nonfinancial indicators, gets results from respondents in the agreed category. While the Y variable, namely job satisfaction with indicators of Jobs, Wages, Promotions, Supervisors, Coworkers, obtained results from respondents with agreed categories. The results of simple linear regression research show that compensation has a significant relationship to employee job satisfaction.
