Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine significantly whether the factors that influence capital expenditure have a significant effect on the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. The results showed that partially the level of insider ownership has an effect on capital expenditure. Internal cash flow has a partial effect on capital expenditure. However, there are differences in investment opportunity, partially, the level of investment opportunity has no effect on capital expenditure. Profitability also has no effect on capital expenditure. And finally, the sales level partially affects the capital expenditure. The data used in this research is quantitative data. Meanwhile, the data source used in this research is secondary data. The sample used is 15 companies selected by purposive sampling method with the research period from 2015-2019. The analytical method used is the Random Effect Model using a significance level of 5%.Â
