Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools based on the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) approach on the material of a two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) whose validity has been tested. The form of research carried out is research and development and the development model used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMPS Methodist Pekanbaru and its implementation in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The object of the research is a learning device for the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on RME approach to the material for the SPLDV class VIII SMP. The data collection instrument used the RPP and LKPD validation sheets. Data analysis showed that the results of the validation of lesson plans learning tools obtained an average value of 88.59 with a very valid category and LKPD an average value of 86.67 with a very valid category. So that it can be concluded that the development of learning tools based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to the material of the Class VIII Linear Equation System (SPLDV), which produces RPP and LKPD has been tested for validity so that it can be tested on a small or large scale so that it can be seen its practicality and effectiveness.
