Abstract

Crimes experienced by humans every day continue to develop from time to time, how crimes can occur and how to eradicate them are endless problems for debate, one of which is a crime against children. There are several factors of criminal acts of sexual abuse against children, namely the lack of early education from parents, the weakness of the family economy, the lack of parents and technological advances which not only have a positive impact but also a negative impact. Based on this description, the problem solving is as follows: to determine the factors causing the occurrence of criminal acts of sexual abuse against children and how the efforts made by the Rokan Hulu Police. Researchers use empirical legal research methods that obtain data by conducting observations and surveys. The nature of this research is included in the description that describes something in a certain area. Factors causing the occurrence of criminal acts of obscene acts against children in the Legal Territory of the Rokan Hulu Resort Police are caused by psychological factors, economic factors and education level factors. Efforts to overcome obscene crimes against children in the Legal Territory of the Rokan Hulu Resort Police are carried out through prevention and repressive efforts. K
