Abstract
The number of people who send goods from one place to another makes service expeditions very important. The protection of the rights of senders and recipients as service users in Indonesia has been regulated for a long time. Seeing the behavior of these people, it is necessary to protect consumers who use these transportation services, so that consumers also feel calm and believe that the goods deposited are sent to their destination and are not damaged. The main problem of the research is how the form of responsibility in the delivery of goods on the transportation of PT. Sungai Pinang Travel and What are the Inhibiting Factors in the Form of Responsibility of the Transportation Party of PT. Sungai Pinang Travel Against Consumer Complaints on the Delivery of Goods. The method used in this research is empirical or sociological legal research, with observational research, namely by means of a survey or direct observation to the research location using data collection tools. The results of this study The form of responsibility in the delivery of goods on Travel Transportation at PT. Sungai Pinang is not yet maximally implemented, because the travel transportation party admits that it is responsible for the safety of goods and the security of goods, the company sees the goods suffer losses due to loss, damage or delays in delivery , then it becomes the responsibility of the carrier and what are the inhibiting factors for the form of responsibility of the carrier of PT. Sungai Pinang Travel Against Consumer Complaints on Delivery of Goods, Settlement by the Travel Transportation party at PT. Sungai Pinang against consumer complaints regarding the delivery of goods is where the party will ensure that the goods are sent first and contact the consumer concerned, if the goods are damaged they will be held responsible accordingly. the ability of the driver, but if the goods experience delays in delivery, the transportation party will discuss with the consumer the reason for the delay.
