Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) in Pangkalan Kuras in February 2021 until completion. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of HR competence and job training on employee performance at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) at Kuras base. In this study, the population was casual daily employees, amounting to 65 people, while the sample was drawn using the saturated sampling method or better known as the census, totaling 65 people. Methods of collecting data were interviews and a list of questions (questionnaires) with the results of multiple linear regression equation test with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that the competence variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Surya Bratasena Plantation (SBP) in Pangkalan Kuras. Based on the calculation of the correlation value of competence and job training has a positive relationship. From the output, it is obtained the coefficient of determination (R Square) which implies that the magnitude of the influence of the independent variables (competence and job training) on the dependent variable (Employee Performance) by other factors that are not known or not included in the study.
