Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out about efforts to improve learning outcomes of sickle kick skills through the demonstration method of pencak silat class XI students of SMAN 2 Tanah Putih, Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of this research is CAR (Classroom Action Research). The subjects in this study were class XI students of SMAN 2 Tanah Putih, Rokan Hilir Regency which consisted of 1 class and totaled 26 students. The instrument of this research is to use performance appraisal. This research produces a data on the improvement of students in learning the sickle kick using the demonstration method. The achievement of complete learning outcomes of pencak silat sickle kick in cycle 1 is 53.00%. And in cycle 2 of 84.00%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded: The use of the demonstration method can improve learning outcomes of pencak silat sickle kicks in class XI students of SMAN 2 Tanah Putih, Rokan Hilir Regency.
