Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the learning interest of class XI students towards physical education learning at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this research is students of SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras, totaling 163 students. The sample technique is a random sampling technique with a sample of 82 students. The indicators of learning interest in the questionnaire are divided into 4 indicators, namely: 1) feelings of pleasure, 2) student interest, 3) attention, 4) student involvement. The number of initial statements is designed for 50 statement items and after being tested for validity it becomes 30 statement items. From the results of this study is the interest in learning of class XI students towards physical education learning at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kuras with an average of 72% with a strong category.
