Abstract
The results of this study indicate that the Strategy of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Overcoming Flood Disasters in Hamparan Rawang District, Sungai Full City, Jambi Province has not been maximized. The factors are human resources, unfavorable weather, facilities and infrastructure and community participation. In dealing with flooding in this expanse sub-district, cooperation with other parties or related agencies and especially the government is needed to improve facilities and infrastructure and also utilize quality and understanding human resources.
