Abstract

Friendship is a group of friends who are involved in mutual support, and have intimacy. Undergoing friendships, teenagers often experience various problems that cause friction in a friendship relationship. The phenomenon of adolescent friendships tends to occur during interactions between adolescents. The relationship between television soap operas and the behavior of teenagers is very influential, because teenagers who like one television soap opera are not impossible to influence all forms of attitudes and behavior of teenagers in friendship relationships. The focus of this research is the analysis of the value of Friendship Relations in the soap opera “Jendela SMP. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method and uses a research design that seeks to provide an overview of the situation that occurs, or what is called descriptive. the research subject is the film "Jendela SMP" namely Joko and Wulan. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The results of the study, namely from seven episode 3 junior high school window films in friendship, showed that some contained elements of politeness and there were films that lacked manners, such as when Joko's scans told the solution to the problem of Wulan who was pregnant to marry young. The friendship relationships shown by Joko, Wulan, Rino, and Lili and Gino show friendships that have reached the indicators, namely being open to each other, defending each other, intimacy, improving relationships, similarities and there is only one thing that is not visible in their friendship, namely a symbolic relationship. The elements of friendship of the characters show that there are elements of friendship that are quite good and positive which can be seen and watched by the community, especially during adolescence in seeing the elements of friendship of the characters who defend and support each other.
