Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the participation of the Family Planning Village program in Tapung Makmur Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive, which prioritizes a list of questionnaires as a data collection tool and the data collected with this questionnaire is then used as the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions and the objectivity of the existence of the research location objectives. The sampling in this study amounted to 50 people, the types and techniques of data collection used consisted of, primary data collected by questionnaires and interviews, and secondary data collected using observation and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is by using sampling technique and incidental sampling. The results of the study indicate that in terms of initial decision making, it is not implemented, but in ongoing decisions and operational decisions are implemented. From the implementation, the community has contributed resources and has become a participant in KB Village activities. And from the direct evaluation of the community, it is still not implemented, but it can be carried out in an indirect evaluation by providing assessments and suggestions for the Kampung KB program for improvement of future activities. It is hoped that the government, relevant agencies and across sectors can carry out activities that become community problems and help improve the quality of the community in Tapung Makmur Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency. There needs to be community involvement in the planning of the KB Village Program so that the community has a sense of ownership and takes part in the KB Village Program in Tapung Makmur Village, Tapung Hilir District, Kampar Regency.
