Abstract

This research was carried out at the Tourism Office of Kampar Regency, and the Tepian Mahligai Tourism Object in Pulau Gadang Village, Kampar Regency. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the development of the Mahligai Coastal Pier as Community-Based Ecotourism Using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Kampar Regency. The data collection technique that the writer uses in this research is the technique of observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data analysis technique that the author uses in this research is descriptive qualitative. Key informants in this study consisted of the Head of Pokdarwis, Head of Tourism Destination Development Division of Kampar Regency, Village Head/Village Secretary, Tourists, Communities around ecotourism. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that: the development of comunity based ecotourims uses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) In Kampar Regency. Still not implemented, especialy related to indicators, amenity assesments for cleanliness and completenes are still not implemented, accessibility to the assesment of the development of ecotourims transportasion development at Tepian Mahligai Pier is not implemented because there is no public transportasion available to the location of Tepian Mahligai Pier, it is concluded that the assesment of the Tepian mahligai Pier is considerded to be lacking, in the cleanliness of the facilities and infrastructure for the ecotourims manager of Tepian Mahligai Pier, it is necessary to improve cleanliness and add cleaning personel. Therefore, it is necessary to develop further coordination with local goverments such as the Kampar Regency Culture Office to improve public transportasion facilities and infrastructure to get to the location, in order to increase public interest in visiting the Tepian Mahligai Pier.
