Abstract
This study to analyze the level of efficiency and productivity of islamic insurance during the 2018-2020 period. Research conducted on 3 sharia insurance companies. Efficiency analysis uses the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach and productivity analysis uses the Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI). The results of the study show that Takaful Umum and Chubb Syariah companies have been efficient while Sonwelis Takaful companies experienced inefficiency in 2018 in the research period. The results of the analysis productivity shows that Chubb Syariah companies are productivie during the study period. Meanwhile, Takaful Umum and Sonwelis Takaful companies are not productive, wich is influenced by technological changes.
