Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the implementation of the Lurah task in conducting guidance on community institutions in the Bukit Batrem sub-district of Dumai Timur Subdistrict, Dumai City. The type of research that I us e is the type of Descriptive Survey, where the writer will describe the conditions objectively encountered in the field based on data relating to the problem of implementing the lurah task in guiding community organizations in Bukit Batrem Village, Dumai T imur sub - district, Dumai City. As for the population in this study are the Bukit Batrem Village Chief, Employee of the Bukit Batrem Village Head, a member of the Bukit Batrem Community Institution. Based on questionnaires and the results of interviews that the author did to the respondent, the Implementation of the Lurah Task in Conducting Guidance on Community Institutions in the Bukit Batrem Village, Dumai Timur District, Dumai City, was said to be Good enough. This can be seen from the six indicators, na mely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, leveling, responsiveness, and accuracy so that it can be said to be good with the results of the respondents' recapitulation of 56 answers or 45%. And the obstacles in the implementation of the lurah's task in guid ing community organizations in the Bukit Batrem sub - district of Dumai Timur, Dumai City are the lack of facilities and infrastructure for social institutions, such as offices for these institutions, however members of social institutions do the maximum pos sible work with existing facilities and also the lack of funds / budget provided by the government for the kelurahan, so that the Lurah is lacking in providing facilities and infrastructure, and is a barrier for members of community organizations to carry out activities
