Abstract

ABSTRACT Social and environmental responsibility is better known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). CSR aims to make the community feel the presence of the company and be useful in the company environment. From the social side, the presence of a company in an area must be able to provide benefits in various social activities including building infrastructure, providing employment, participating in education, health, social and economic fields by providing material and other assistance to the community around the company. . CSR in Indonesia is coercive because Article 74 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 explicitly states that it is an obligation for the company. Even though the rules regarding CSR are clear, many read in various media about companies violating and not complying with them. Some companies still have disagreements with the communities around the company. It is the duty of the central and local governments to monitor the activities of companies that violate the rules in CSR and have an impact on the community. The main problem of the research is how the implementation of PT.Atika Tunggal Mandiri's Corporate Social Responsibility to the community in Nagari Mnggilang, Pangkalan Koto Baru District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, and what are the obstacles of PT. Atika Tunggal Mandiri in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility. While the research method used is this type of research is included in the qualitative descriptive group, namely research that observes and describes things that occur, both social and natural phenomena, within a certain time span, and researchers cannot control these phenomena. In obtaining data, the authors used data collection methods in the form of interviews and directly to the field. The results of the author's research, namely the implementation of PT. Atika Tunggal Mandiri's Corporate Social Responsibility to the community in Nagari Manggilang, Pangkalan Koto Baru District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, has been carried out including the existence of a house renovation program, providing MSME assistance, providing tuition and school equipment, qurban assistance, road repairs, mosque construction and PT.Atika Tunggal Mandiri's obstacles in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility are the lack of understanding of CSR from employees of PT. Atika Tunggal Mandiri, the lack of awareness of the CSR beneficiaries, and the lack of coordination between PT. Atika Tunggal Mandiri and the assisted village communities.
