Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction and main effect of POC Urine Cattle and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 on the Growth and Production of Eggplant Plants. This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 133 Marpoyan Stop, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from July to October 2021. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was cow urine POC consisting of four treatment levels, namely: 0, 80, 160 and 240 ml per plant. The second factor was the dose of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 which consisted of four treatment levels, namely: 0, 10, 20 and 30 g per plant. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, longest fruit length, and number of remaining fruits. The research data were analyzed statistically and continued with the 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the interaction effect of cow urine POC and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 was significant for all parameters. The best treatment was a combination of cow urine POC 240 ml/plant and a dose of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 30 g/plant. The main effect of cow urine POC was real on all parameters, the best treatment was 240 ml per plant. The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 was significant for all parameters, the best treatment was 30g/plant.
