Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of the concentration of eco farming fertilizer on the growth and yield of several peanut varieties. The research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution KM 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The time used in this study was four months from March to June 2021. The design used in this study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the Eco Farming fertilizer concentration factor (E) which consists of 4 levels and the second is the peanut variety factor (V) which consists of 4 treatment levels so that 16 treatment combinations are obtained. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods, pod weight per plant, and percentage of pithy pods. Observational data were tested statistically and continued with BNJ level 5%. The results showed that the interaction effect of the use of various varieties of peanuts and eco-farming fertilizers had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, and the percentage of pithy pods. The best treatment was a combination of using a concentration of 300 ml of eco farming fertilizer and the Tala 1 variety (E3V3). The main effect of the concentration of eco farming fertilizer has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was concentration of eco farming fertilizer at a dose of 100 ml (E1). The main effect of the use of various varieties of peanuts has a significant effect on all parameters of observation. The best treatment was the use of the Tala 1 variety (V3).
