Abstract
This study aims to find out the responses of students to the implementation of field trips in the course of plant ecology, Batch 2017 FKIP Biology UIR . This research is quantitative research. The method used in this study is the survey method. Data collection is done by using questionnaires, observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The sample in this study were 84 students taken from class A and class B students in the 2017 Faculty of Biology UIR. The questionnaire distributed consisted of 34 statements. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the students' responses to the implementation of field trips in the course of plant ecology, 2017 Batch FKIP Biology UIR in a very good category with a percentage of 78, 11 %. the highest is in class B which is 78.42% with a very good category, and the lowest class A is 77.74% in the good category.
