Abstract
One of the success factors for water injection is a good surveillance and monitoring program. The purpose of this study was to conduct surveillance and monitoring in the Kuantan field (2 injection wells and 8 production wells). Surveillance and monitoring are carried out using a synergy between the Hall Plot Method, Well Connectivity Analysis and Voidage Replacement Ratio to obtain an overview of the effectiveness of the water injection carried out. Hall plot analysis indicated that the Zrd 60 injection well had formation damage but it did not last long and returned to normal, while the Zrd 61 injection well indicated that water channeling occurred and returned to normal. The connectivity analysis shows that the connectivity of the Zrd 60 injection well with the Zrd 18 and Zrd 21 production wells is good, while the connectivity of the Zrd 60 injection well with the Zrd 26 and Zrd 33 production wells is not good, while the connectivity of the Zrd 61 injection well with the production wells Zrd 42, 127 is not good and for production wells Zrd 8 and 128 the connectivity is categorized as good. The VRR analysis of the Northblue sector found a VRR of 1 and the Southblue sector of 1.3 which indicates that the water injection has been effective
