Abstract

The tourism object development was an effort to reach the development goals and preserve nature and natural sources. With good planning, it hoped that it could produce competitive improvement from tourism product. The purpose in this research examined to know the development of Tajwid Lake natural tourism object to be sharia based tourism destination at Pelalawan regency. In this research, the development natural tourism object Tajwid lake to be sharia based tourism destination based on national sharia council fatwa- Indonesian religious leader number: 108/DSN-MUI/X/2016 with three dimensions: regulation dimension about tourist, regulation dimension about tourism destination, regulation dimension about sharia tour guide. This research method used qualitative and the data used primer and secondary data. This research subject was management and visitors that visited to natural tourism Tajwid Lake. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. Research finding showed that all dimensions had been worthy average develop to be sharia based tourism destination. However, there were some indicators that run well but they was not in worthy category to be developed where regulation dimension about sharia tourism destination with halal food and beverages indicator that had halal guarantee with Halal MUI certificate.
