Abstract

This research was motivated by the economic empowerment at IZI Riau representative that was purposed to Mustahiks in order to give improvement to them to increase their economy. This research was qualitative research. In getting valid data, researcher used primer and secondary data. The method in collecting data used observation, interview, and documentation. Researcher interview six respondents. Based on research finding, it could be concluded that the IZI’s facilitator role in Riau representative gave facility such as startup capital, submission and fulfilling requirement. Based on IZI’s mediator role, it was known that they gave solution to mustahik to keep their business with guiding the mustahik, creating regular development once a week and doing direct survey to mustahik’s house. Meanwhile, in accounting and fundraising role, they recapped data in order to make easy to distribute in every year, recruit zakat donator by giving education by personal and media social and inform the program that had been done. Mustahik Economic empowerment by IZI was very good and in running their program was very help mustahik’s economy before their received the donation. After getting capital donation from IZI Riau representative, they could fulfill their daily needs and develop their business.
