Abstract

This research paper aims to determaine the suitability of accountability and transparency in the financial management of village funds in Rimbo Panjang Village Tambang District Kampar Regency. The research location is in Rimbo Panjang Village Tambang District Kampar Regency. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The types and sources of data used are primary data in the form of interviews with village government officials and local communityleaders and secondary data in the form of related documents. The results of this study are at the administrative stage, Rimbo Panjang Village closes the general cash book every semester reporting will be carried out which should be done at the end of every month, and at the reporting stage of the first semester are still delays where the first semester report should be reported no later than the second week of July, this is due to the late disbursement of funds from the central government. So that the accountability of Rimbo Panjang Village is still not fully accountable. At the stage of transparency, the financial management of Rimbo Panjang Village is still not fully in accordance with existing indicators, where Rimbo Panjang Village has not informed the report on the realization of activities and what activities have not been completed/ not implemented in the information media.
