Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem about students’ learning achievement that was happened to some students at senior high school 1 Pinggir, Pinggir Sub district Bengkalis Regency. The purpose in this research examined to look up the influence of learning motivation on students’ learning achievement in Islamic education lesson at senior high school 2 Pinggir, Pinggir Sub district Bengkalis Regency. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. The population involved 127 students and sample was 96 students. The way to collect research data was implement questionnaire and documentation. From hypothesis test result with significant score 0.000 < 0.05 that meant there was any influence of learning motivation on students’ learning achievement in Islamic education lesson at senior high school 2 Pinggir, Pinggir Sub district Bengkalis Regency. The influence could be seen from summary table where R square score in 0.494 (49.4). It showed that learning achievement was influenced by learning motivation in 49.4% with medium category. It could be concluded from research finding that there was influence of learning motivation on students’ leaning achievement in Islamic education lesson at senior high school 2 Pinggir, Pinggir Sub district Bengkalis Regency.
