The fuel cell is an alternative electrical energy generator and as a replacement solution for conventional electrical energy generation. With the basic principles of electro-chemistry, namely by converting chemical energy into electrical energy directly. Bipolar plate is one of the important and most expensive parts of a fuel cell fuel cell, therefore the development of an efficient and cost-effective bipolar plate is very attractive for the manufacture of a next generation PEMFC circuit in the future. This research was conducted to determine the effect of compositional variations of carbo graphite, graphene oxide and epoxy resin adhesive by using a press molding method or pressing with a hydraulic press, with a pressure of five tons (5000) Kg. The aim is to compare the values of electrical conductivity, microstructure and compressive strength which is expected to be a reference in the development of energy materials in the future. In this study, the tests carried out include electrical conductivity tests, observations of the microstructure and calculation of the compressive strength of each sample. Polymer conductor pellets with variations in the composition of the first sample, namely 40% Graphite, 20% Graphene Oxide, 40% Epoxy Resin, 40% Graphite Second Sample, 30% Graphene Oxide, 30% Epoxy Resin, and the third sample Graphite 40%, Graphene Oxide 40% , 20% Epoxy Resin. From the results of research that has been carried out, it is obtained that a high electrical conductivity value is obtained in the third sample (3) with a composition ratio of 30:40:30 with a value of 65 S/cm because the carbon content of graphene oxide is more dominant than graphite. In the observation of the microstructure, it can be seen in the third sample that the surface is smoother and has an even distribution. And for samples that have good compressive strength, the second sample is 13.7 MPa, but it does not meet the standards for bipolar plates. The standard according to DOE is >25 MPa.
