Abstract

Energy is eternal, which means that energy cannot be created and cannot be destroyed (destroyed). However, energy can be transformed into another form of energy. For example, the energy of motion into electrical energy, such as the blades that drive a turbine to produce electricity, electrical energy into sound energy such as radio and others. All equipment that is often used in everyday life requires energy that comes from electricity or fuel oil. Energy is a major need in everyday life. Almost all activities in life require energy as the prime mover. From the data obtained, it will determine the type of alternative energy that can be developed because it meets the technological and economical requirements. So in this study I utilize mechanical energy sources to become appropriate electrical energy such as the Rowing machine tool. Here I take the effect of using a flaywheel on Rowing machines this. Where from the results of the study the addition of a flaywheel greatly affects in producing greater electrical energy than without using a flaywheel, for example data using a flaywheel produces energy of 267 watts approximately in each pull and without a flaywheel produces energy of 150 watts in each pull. This is influenced by the presence of more energy generated from the rotation of the flaywhell when we stop pulling the Rowing machine tool.
