Abstract
This research was conducted in Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu district. The Object of this entrepreneur in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The problem raised in this study is whether the application of accounting in the workshop business in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency is in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting in running its business. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of accounting application in the workshop business in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency with basic accounting concepts. The data collected is primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods that the author uses for the purposes of writing are structured interviews, documentation and observation. While the data analysis used is descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the Workshop Business owner has not implemented Accounting Recording in accordance with the Basic Accounting Concepts.
