Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve lower service skills by using modification tools class VIII 3 in Pekanbaru State Middle School 35. This type of research is PTK. The population in this study amounted to 34 students, then the sample taken was total sampling, which was a total of 34 students as samples. Based on the results of data processing in the implementation of the first cycle there were 28 students who achieved the KKM score (82%), and 6 students who had not yet reached the KKM score (18%). So this study continued with the implementation of the second cycle and the results increased with the number of 30 students who achieved the KKM score (88%) and 4 students who had not yet reached the KKM (12%). Thus it can be concluded that there is an increase in lower service skills using modification tools class VIII 3 in Pekanbaru State Middle School 35.
