Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of speed and agility to the ability to dribble a soccer game in SSB Khatulistiwa athletes, Kampar Regency. This type of research is correlational research, which is a statistical tool, which can be used to compare the measurement results of two or more different variables in order to determine the level of relationship between these variables. The population is the whole subject of the study, the population in this study are all players of the equatorial SSB in Kampar district totaling 20 people. The sample of this study used a total sampling technique, meaning that the entire population was sampled. So the number of samples in this study was 20 men. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that a) There was a contribution of speed to the ability to drive SSB Equator Athletes in Kampar Regency by 23.61%. seen from the value of r arithmetic (0.486) > r table (0.444). b) There is a contribution of agility to the ability to drive SSB Equator Athletes in Kampar Regency by 25.80%. seen from the value of r arithmetic (0.508) > r table (0.444). c) There is a contribution of speed and agility to the ability to drive SSB Equator Athletes in Kampar Regency by 33.43%. seen from the value of r arithmetic (0.578) > r table (0.444).
