Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work conflict on employee performance at Indomaret (PT. Indomarco Prismatama Tbk) Teratak Buluh. The research location is at Indomaret (PT. Indomarco Prismatama Tbk) Teratak Buluh, Jalan Raya Teratak Buluh No.88 Teluk Kuantar, Pandau Jaya, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The population of this study were 35 employees. Furthermore, this research takes a saturated sample, that is, all the population is sampled. The data comes from a questionnaire distributed to employees. Data analysis used Simple Linear Regression Analysis using SPSS version 24. The results showed that the work conflict variable had a negative effect on the performance of PT Indomarco Prismatama TBK Teratak Buluh employees. So if the work conflict is high, then the employee's performance will decrease. The results of the research carried out support the hypothesis that work conflict has a negative effect on employee performance.
