Abstract

This study aims to analyze product innovations carried out by Rotte Bakery Bukit Barisan in Pekanbaru. The type of research used is qualitative research by interviewing employees of Rotte Bakery Bukit Barisan in Pekanbaru in depth. The analysis used is taxonomic analysis. The results of this study indicate that Rotte Bakery Bukit Barisan in Pekanbaru has implemented five types of product innovations consisting of: modulation-based product innovation, packaging-based innovation, design-based innovation, complementary material development-based innovation and effort-reduction-based innovation. So the innovations made by Rotte Bakery Bukit Barisan in Pekanbaru have been carried out well.
