Abstract

This research is motivated by the first moral action based on the human heart itself. If the human heart is not satisfied with what it has, it will be done with good deeds, right actions or wrong actions. Such problems are also found in the imaginary reality of literary works. The problems studied in this study are (1) how are the moral values related to the aspect of responsibility contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. (2) how are the moral values related to the aspect of conscience contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. (3) how are the moral values related to obliging contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The purpose of this research is to describe, analyze, interpret and collect data about moral values in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata from the aspect of responsibility, conscience, and obligation. The main theory used is Bertens (2013), Nurgiyantoro (2007). The data source is the entire contents of this Guru novel by Andrea Hirata. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection technique used is hermeneutic technique, while the data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques. The source of the data in this study is the entire contents of the Novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata, totaling 206 pages published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama in Jakarta. The data on moral values from the aspect of responsibility contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata can be found from the character and attitude of the characters there are (13) data. Moral values from the aspect of conscience contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea there is an attitude of awareness that is kind and helpful to each other. knowledge, obeying religious regulations and doing good to others (14) data.
