Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of user involvement, user education and training programs, top management support, and personal technical skills on the performance of accounting information systems in Pekanbaru City SKPD. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population is all Regional Apparatus Work Units. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The number of samples is 30 SKPD with 6 respondents in each SKPD. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. tThe data analysis technique is multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that user involvement has a positive effect on the performance of accounting information systems with a significance value of 0.018, training and education programs have a positive effect on the performance of accounting information systems with a tsignificance value of 0.024, top management support has a positive effect on the performance of accounting information systems with a significance value of 0.006. , personal technical ability has a positive effect on the performance of accounting information systems with a significance value of 0.041. The percentage of the influence of these variables together is 44.8% while the remaining 55.2% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.
