Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between Psychological Resilience in SelfEfficacy and Optimism in Souvenirs of Pekanbaru City. The research subjects in this study were traders who sold in Pasar Bawah, Pekanbaru city, which amounted to 150 traders. Sampling in this study uses the purposive sampling technique. The data collection used in this study was using a questionnaire consisting of a psychological resilience scale using the CD-RISC scale (ConorDavidson Resilience Scale) from Conor and Davidson (2003) adapted by Manzano and Ayala (2013) totaling 25 items, self-efficacy scale The General Self Efficacy Scale belonging to Ralf Schwazer and Matthias Jerusalem (1995) consists of 9 items, and the optimism scale is 17 items. The statistical analysis used in this research is multiple regression. The results show that self-efficacy and optimism together contribute to the psychological resilience of traders by 65.2%. It can be concluded that the higher the simultaneously self-efficacy and optimism, the higher the psychological resilience of traders.
