Abstract
This study aims to determine the critical thinking and creative thinking skills student of class XI IPA SMAN 4 TA 2020/2021. This research is quantitative descriptive. The method used in this study is the survey method. The instrument that is used is a matter of critical thinking and creative thinking many as 11 questions, interviews and documentation. The samples were used in the research of student class XI IPA 1 to XI IPA 6 totaling 108 students. The results showed that the highest critical thinking indicators that provides further explanation indicators with a percentage of 93,1% (very good category). The indicator that occupies the lowest score is the indicator building basic skills with a percentage of 39,8 % (very less category). The highest creative thinking indicators is fluency indicators with a percentage of 85,4% (very good category). The indicator that occupies the lowest score is the indicator originality with a percentage of 50,2 % (medium category). Based on the results of research conducted on students' critical thinking and creatve thinking , it can be concluded that students' critical thinking abilities are in the medium category with a percentage of 63,0%, and creative thinking abilities are in the good category with a percentage of 64,1 %.
